St. Moritz Photos
We stopped at this rest stop on the way to St. Moritz
Very sunny and lots of natural foods
Wish we had some of these in America.
Some beautiful valleys from the bus window
The Julier Pass—the road here dates from the 1820s.

The Lake of St. Moritz
Clever mosaics at the train station showing scenes from the Bernina Express route.
We boarded the Bernina Express at Pontresina.
We went on a small portion of its route but it does have some spectacular scenery.
Unfortunately, it’s hard to get good photos because by the time you see a great shot, the train has curved around a bend to another location.
We left the train at Ospizio, the highest station on the route—about 7,000 feet.
We were met by our tour bus and took the bus back down to St. Moritz.
There was some spectacular scenery on the way down too.
Some of the window seats on the way down were not for the faint of heart.
It doesn’t get much prettier than this.
Looks like a possible glacier in the distance.
Lake Moritz at sunset
Back from the mountains, we went here for dinner on the shore of Lake St. Moritz.
A small dam near the restaurant
These dogs wandered into the restaurant as we were about to sit down for dinner.
