We passed through some beautiful country on our way to Baveno, Italy.

Baveno is right up the road from Stresa, Italy where we were the week before.

We were too early for the hotel rooms so we went back to Stresa for lunch.

We had lunch in the garden at this hotel. Lake Maggiore is in the distance.

Most of the tour group went on an afternoon tour of Isola Bella; we skipped it because we were there the previous week.
