Our final day ashore consisted of a walking tour of Old Nice and then lunch with family.  Our guide for the walking tour was outstanding--a woman born in Ireland, a longtime resident of Australia and then a resident of Nice.  She had sixth children and described her former husband as the seventh child.  She seemed to know absolutely everything about Nice’s history, culture and food. It was a very enjoyable two hours with her.  Finally, at the tour’s conclusion, we met a sibling and wife for lunch and a very enjoyable visit.
