After a somewhat rocky cruise from Miami, we arrived in Key West for a day’s visit.  First, we picked up the trolley and stopped at the Key West Nature and Butterfly Conservatory and then we walked around town stopping for lunch and visiting the Mel Fisher Museum where we learned the story of their successful search for shipwrecked treasure. Then, it was on to the Harry Truman Florida White House and Hemingway’s Florida house. Because the Truman House can still be used by U.S. Presidents, no photos were permitted.
